What information do I have to enter?

You need to enter your first name, middle initial, last name, date of birth, traffic citation number and email address.

Most of the fields are used to identify the specific traffic citation that belongs to you.  In the future, we need your email address to send information back to you in certain circumstances such as if you are eligible for and choose to enroll in traffic school.

If you do not have an email address, it is not required. We use the email address to provide information should a problem occur in the processing of your payment.

May I use ePay-it to pay my traffic/minor violation?

Yes. You may pay the full bail amount including the traffic school fee, or you may make a payment IF you have an established payment plan set up by the Court. PLEASE READ THE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY WHEN PAYING THE BAIL AND REQUESTING TRAFFIC SCHOOL
(See Step 3: Select Options, “Full Payment” tab when paying your bail and signing up for traffic school).

May I use ePay-it to pay my juvenile (under 18 years of age)traffic/minor violation fine?

No. If you have received a ticket and you are under the age of 18 years old, you must contact the appropriate court location listed on your ticket.

What are the eligibility requirements to attend traffic school?

You had a valid driver’s license at the time you were cited.

You are not currently attending, and have not attended a traffic school program in California within any 18 month period calculated from violation date to violation date.

Your citation does not involve alcohol or drugs.

You were not driving a commercial vehicle.

A speeding violation cannot be more than 25 miles per hour over the posted speed limit.

Pedestrian, bicycle, fix-it, registration, seatbelt, city and county ordinances, skateboarding violations are not eligible for traffic school.

GENERAL INFORMATION:

If the citation contains a combination of one moving violation of the vehicle code and one or more correctable violations (also called fix-it violations), you cannot use ePay-it if you want your fix-it violation(s) corrected. However, if you choose not to correct the violations you can make full payment on both correctable and non-correctable violations through ePay-it.

If you received an authorization receipt but see an error message on the bottom of your receipt stating, "Error in updating ICMS", this is an indication that your payment did not process successfully. Please try again.

If you received an error message when trying to pay your citation on line, yet your bank or Credit Card Company is indicating that the transaction went through, this is incorrect. The bank is only showing a pending transaction and not a charge. The pending transaction is only an authorization to verify the funds were available. This pending transaction will drop off between 24 - 72 hours depending on who your bank or credit card company is.

If you receive a 203 error or a "Citation Cannot be found" message when you enter your citation number, this is an indication that there may be a duplicate citation number or the citation has not yet been entered into the system. Please contact the appropriate court assigned to process your case for further assistance.

Credit Card Refund Policy

A credit card refund can be requested by emailing epay-it.support@isd-corp.com. Please be sure to include your name, court location, case/citation number, date of transaction, transaction amount and last four digits of the credit card number in the request.

Once a refund request has been initiated, the court will be contacted to verify the payment information. If the refund is approved by the court the refund will be processed, the case will be returned to the proper case status and fine payment reversed. Refunds will be sent to the card-issuing bank within five business days of receipt of the refund request. Please contact the card-issuing bank directly with questions about when the credit will be posted to your account.
